blogA native of Toronto, Canada, Andrew Woodbury lived abroad in Costa Rica from 2010 through 2013. A graduate of the University of Toronto, he moved to Costa Rica to teach English as a Second Language. Working for Swiss based language institute Inlingua in San José, Andrew was promoted to academic director in 2012.

Now back in Toronto, he works as an ESL instructor, currently delivering E.A.P Foundation courses at Ryerson University and teaching TESOL at Centennial College. 

Andrew is also a freelance writer. He was a columnist with the PanAm Post and his works have also appeared in outlets such as The Costa Rican Times, The Tico Times, and Antiwar.com. He was a regional ESL expert on popular radio program This Week in Costa Rica and has contributed to The Five Gallon Podcast, among others.

As a blog, Andrew inconsistently writes about mainly uninteresting topics.
